Additionally, I think for someone looking to move from individual contributor to management, the shift from “Me” to “We” is very important.

Take time out to understand your team members, build trust, empower them to make decisions, be honest with them and expect the same, learn how to deal with unknowns.

Management is a great responsibility, not for everyone. Don’t go into it only for promotion, raise or title. There are other ways to get that.
